Vancouver is a city that has plenty to offer its residents. It’s easy to understand why it was selected to host the 2010 Winter Olympics. Vancouver is home to one of the largest urban parks on the continent, Stanley Park. The scenic landscape in this city makes it an attractive option for all nature lovers and urbanites alike.

But, Vancouver is much more than just another pretty city. It has a population of over 600,000 people with the majority of the population having a mother tongue that is not English. So, to call Vancouver an ethnically diverse community would be an understatement. This diversity adds new dimensions to the city and perhaps contributes to its repeated ranking as one of the top ten most liveable cities in the world.
