Richmond

Located in Metro Vancouver, twenty minutes from the downtown core, Richmond is a city with a quaint charm of its own. With a population of over 200, 000 people, it offers individuals a steadily growing and well-connected community to live and work in.

Built for the 2010 Winter Olympics, the Canada Line is a rapid public transportation system that is part of the SkyTrain network. The Canada Line connects Richmond to downtown Vancouver and Vancouver International Airport. This has no doubt helped Richmond strike a healthy balance between urban, suburban and rural life.

Richmond is also home to two of the official venues of the Winter Games: the Richmond Olympic Oval and the Richmond O Zone. At the Richmond Olympic Oval world-class speed skaters competed for gold while the Richmond O Zone functioned as a celebration site that encouraged spectators to display their Olympic spirit.
